Letting Go: Things I Can’t Change

Sometimes things happen if life that you have absolutely no control over. Holding on to the stress of the issue at hand is useless.

Honestly, I’ve gotten better at this in the last few years, but there’s still room for improvement.

When I found out I was now a single mom, panic set in. Then I pulled myself together and said, “Okay. You’ve got to do this. You have no other choice.”

If only I could handle all things I’m faced with so gracefully…

More often than not I find myself facing things (even little things) that I can’t change and it worries me to no end. Time for that to change.

First things first, I’m making a game plan:

  • Decide how major this issue is in the grand scheme of things.
  • Pray about it.
  • Find somebody with a positive outlook to confide in.
  • Let it go.
